I was devastated
I forgot to call His name
I thought, that was alright
He will never leave me, then

So as time goes by
I was under a spell
The world goes round and round
I don’t even feel the bound

So I continue to walk through
Engage in and out, serve here and there
I was so delighted! I even forgot to say a prayer
Oh! What a shame on me that day!

I recall those days, I was so happy
I thought I found my consolation
But then, I didn’t know He will let me feel tribulation
Oh! Lady, you’ve been duped by world of confusion!

Then, one day, the Lord,
In just a snap, made me awake!
Alas Clarie! Wake up!
You are not who you are!

I, your God, am a jealous God
I told you no other gods before me
Adore me in all things
I own you, you are mine

Tears falling down on my eyes
I knelt before the Lord
Asking for forgiveness
I am a sinner Oh! Lord!

From then on, my life was never the same
He said, when you follow me, remember it is not a game
My will is not yours, my mind is not yours too!
But my yoke is light and it will make you life bright

The world is indeed round
Sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down
But one thing is for sure
God is always the One that we adore

Earthly things shall pass away
But His words are not
the same with sweet words that the snakes utter
Never be deceived, or else you falter

Our God is never late nor advance
He is always on time!
He knows when is the exact time
As to whether you wake up or die

There is nothing permanent in this world
Everything will change and will come to an end
But always remember our God is the past,
the present and even to the days that will come

Love God, never depart from Him
Follow Him, never abandon Him
Be with Him, acknowledge Him
Do his will, and He’ll repay you, that’s the promise of Him, Amen
