“True Friendship is with God“

I thought, in friendship everybody is equal
I thought friendship is for everybody
I thought friendship is not selective
I thought friendship is camaraderie

In my 38 years of existence, that’s what I thought of it
I treated everybody equal
But I was wrong, friendship has levels
Friendship is delicate, it should be screened

You can have plenty of friends, but true friend is rare to find
That’s why as I pilgrim in this world, I thank God
He let me know the essence of friendship
It has nothing to do with the career
It has nothing to do with the character
It has nothing to do with the personality
It has to be the gift of acceptance

Acceptance is everything
Regardless of your status, your age, your belief and your race
If there is acceptance, it will work
No judgements, no measurements, no restrictions
You could be of different views, opinions and personalities
but if there is acceptance and love, differences are futile
Friendship is far beyond all of those mentioned

Different expectations could lead to uncertainties
Different minds, different reactions could give wrong signals
These makes the friendship go wrong
When two people  of different ways of expressing and showing
love and affection are parallel from each other

You could be giving a 100 percent of your love and attention
and the other is not
You could have been sharing all of you and the other is hesitant to show all
So that is why friendship has levels

It is not always the same for everybody
You give all of your best to the person who really deserves it
It has to be screened and chosen wisely
A wisdom from God should be asked
If this friend is really true?

Is this friend special?
Is this friend a favorite?
Is this friend the best?
Is this friend the closest?
Is this friend an acquaintance?
Is this friend deep?
Is this friend my love?
Is this friend meant for me?

Yes, friendship has levels
So be extra careful
Friends can be plenty, you can have  a lot of them
But the best of all? the true of all?
the closest of all? the all in all?
is only God….
So, if you want to have all the best, all the love
it only comes from God
Because if all of your friends turn back on you
It is only God who will never turn you down.
He is everything. No one else.
